Thank You God

What should I thank you for?

There are lots of things I can thank you for,

The material and the non material

This life, my parents, my family, home sweet home, food, water, clothes, shoes....

The list goes on...

The ability to move, see, devour through my senses and what not

But today God I want to thank you for this day...

This day, this opportunity to turn my life around

To this opportunity to make me, build me and try yet another time.

Because if not for this day where would I have been...

With my incompleteness..

With my intentions yet to be fulfilled

Love to be experienced

Happiness to be felt

Emotions to be run through me

Miracles to be unfolded

Goals to be achieved

And life to be lived.....

And I thank you for the days you have had given me...

Because those were the days that changed me, transformed me, made me stronger and made me who I am today....

Slowly and steadily, I reached here...

And I know there is much better version of me waiting to be unveiled...

So I want days....

I ask for days...

Please grant me days....

What else could I ask for?

There is no point asking for anything because you have already bestowed me with the tools I need and everything that I need to build me, to build this beautiful life....

So grant me days....
